๐Ÿ”๏ธ No-Code

How we will write software soon

Hey there,

Welcome to the SaaS Hill, a weekly newsletter that tries to predict the future of SaaS.

Let's discuss No Code.

Reading Time: 4 minutes

โญ๏ธ Intro

Back in 2014, I was amazed when IFTTT helped me save my important emails to a Google Spreadsheet document or send a notification if it rains tomorrow. Now we see that No Code changes the way how we perceive software.

And here is what we will discuss today:

  1. No Code Predictions

  2. No Code Market Size by 2027

  3. No Code tools and agencies

  4. How Softr raised $13.5M to create ecosystem for building no-code apps

  5. How to build a SaaS Company in 56 Days using No Code

๐Ÿค” Predictions

  1. Raise of No Code agencies (for example, 8020): they can build a product, develop an MVP, and consult on internal processes.

  2. A new job title โ€œNo Coderโ€ along with โ€œGrowth Hackerโ€.

  3. Raise of No Code operations along with sales operations, marketing operations, revenue operations and HR operations.

  4. Raise of No Code freelancers and experts (Hire No Code experts)

  5. No Code will help build internal apps, tools and integrations faster (Retool helps build admin panels)

  6. No Code will make it easier to build MVPs. Eventually, there will be no need to build MVP to pitch an idea: just build a prototype that transfers data across tools. For example, you can use Bubble to build a SaaS. Check out incomee, a Bubble-built invoicing SaaS

  7. All annoying repetitive tasks will be automated using No Code tools like Zapier, Make, Parabola. People will spend less time on data entry

  8. Raise of No Code-first indie hackers, solopreneurs, micro-SaaS, vertical SaaS, micro-marketplaces, agencies.

  9. More tech-savvy solopreneurs who will automate day-to-day tasks relying on No Code, rather than on Virtual Assistants

  10. No-Code won't replace software developers, but it will help developers automate their day-to-day task and increase efficiency

  11. No Code will compete with lots of SaaS categories. For example, why a new business should buy an expensive CRM if they can use No Code tools and build their own CRM that will fit their unique needs? Thus, they can build their own marketplace, CRM, ERP, client portal, dashboard, website mobile app, listing etc.

  12. New No-Code Software Categories.

    1. No-Code Workflows

    2. No-Code Data Pipelines

    3. No-Code AI

    4. No-Code Website Builders

    5. No-Code Internal Tools
